NENEROYAL (นีนี่รอยัล) is a Thai rock singer who regularly performs live at Naka Market in Phuket — Thailand's largest weekend market. We filmed her show. This is our story about one country with two faces.
Naka Market Phuket — where Thailand truly lives
Naka Market (ตลาดนาคา), also known as Talad Tai Rot or Phuket Weekend Market, is the largest night market in Phuket. Every Saturday and Sunday from 4:00 PM to 10:30 PM, hundreds of stalls fill the market grounds on Wirat Hong Yok Road, near Central Festival Phuket Town. Locals also call it 'Phuket Chatuchak' — a reference to Bangkok's famous weekend market.
The market offers street food, clothing, souvenirs, live entertainment and an atmosphere you won't find anywhere else. On Naka Market's new stage, NENEROYAL performs live — one of the most energetic performances the island has to offer. The crowd sings along, the energy is electric, and Thailand shows its best face.

NENEROYAL (also written as Nene Royal or Nene x Royal, Thai: นีนี่รอยัล) is a Thai rock singer active in Phuket's live music scene. She is known for her powerful voice, raw energy on stage and her ability to take a crowd on a musical journey.
Her regular stage is Naka Market Phuket, where she performs week after week for an audience of locals and international visitors. NENEROYAL represents a Thailand tourists rarely see — not a postcard image, but real culture, real people, real music.

Thailand: music and compassion — one country, two stories
In Phuket, NENEROYAL's rock music fills Naka Market every weekend. More than 1,000 kilometres to the north, in Khon Kaen in the heart of Isaan, another story unfolds. Saved Souls Foundation rescues dogs and cats every day that no one else will take — street dogs, meat trade survivors, and paralysed dogs learning to walk in wheelchairs.
Both stories happen in the same country. Both deserve attention. Music heals people. Love heals animals. Thailand has room for both.

About Saved Souls Foundation
Saved Souls Foundation is an official non-profit organisation based in Khon Kaen, Thailand (registration number 1/2560). Since 2010 we have rescued street dogs, disabled dogs and cats that other shelters refuse — including paralysed dogs receiving swim therapy and learning to move in wheelchairs.
350 dogs and 98 cats currently live at our sanctuary in Ban Khok Ngam, Ban Fang, Khon Kaen. Every animal has a name, a story and a chance at a new life — thanks to donors and volunteers from more than 18 countries.
